"Hone in on your
peyote skills with this odd-count spiral peyote stitch bracelet. We will use a
variety of Japanese seed beads and antique brass findings to create a
one-of-a-kind jewelry piece that is customizable! Once you have the stitch
pattern mastered, you can change the colors, beads and charms to your liking.
The options are endless! All materials to make the bracelet pictured will be
provided, along with detailed instructions for you to take home. I will also
provide a variety of charms to choose from so you can make the bracelet your

This class is being taught by visiting instructor Corinne Horvath.
is a musician and jeweler located in Richmond, Virginia. Her jewelry line,
Texture and Tarnish, uses metals and gemstones to create nature-inspired
designs that will last through the ages...with a touch of texture and
tarnish. She holds a bachelors, masters and doctorate in clarinet performance
and arts administration and teaches privately in the area. Let's just say that
she is a creative at heart!"
She will have other kits for sale after class.
Workshops are held at my house located at 2348 Austin Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
The workshops will start at 11 am and run through approximately 4:30 pm. You will be able to finish your project.
My studio is located in the basement of my home, and a flight of stairs must be navigated. The restroom and kitchen are located one floor up from the basement.
I have two dogs and a cat. They will not be in the studio, but they have free reign of my home upstairs and you should be aware if you have allergies.
Lunch will not be provided. Please pack a lunch and bring drinks. You will have access to a refrigerator and a microwave.
